SYMBIOSIS, THE UPLB BIOLOGICAL SOCIETY
Academic Organization, clustered under Biological Sciences, established in 1974.
A duly recognized academic organization in the University of the Philippines at Los Banos, compliant with the rules and policies of the Office of Student Affairs, UPLB. The organization was founded on August 24, 1974, and is the first student organization in the Institute of Biological Sciences.

Membership
As of Second Semester, AY 2023-2024, this student organization has 13 members. Since SYMBIOSIS is a college-based student organization, only students from CAS may apply to join the organization.
Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to SYMBIOSIS. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
